One of the great things about living in my flat is that it gives a fantastic view of the city. From my flat, I can see the Singapore Flyer, Esplanade, Suntec Singapore and Marina Bay Sands, all in their full glory. The view is especially beautiful at night when colorful lights adorn the city. Whenever I feel tired, all I need to do is peek out the window, feel the cool wind, look at the beautiful view... and just breathe.

Last year, while waiting to board my flight back to Manila from Singapore, I went around Changi to look for what I can buy with a few Singapore Dollars left on my wallet. I entered the small Harrods store and saw a nice keychain. I knew I had no use for it since 1) I don't drive 2) I don't have keys to enter the house. But then, the keychain is really cute and I rationalized my purchase by telling myself that I will definitely have a use for it in the future.



Who knew that I will be back here in Singapore a year after that purchase? And now, I have a use for it (it now holds keys to my flat).
